Hey! My name is Hans Hanley. I am a computer science researcher at Stanford University. I completed two Masters degrees in Computer Science and in Statistics at the University of Oxford. I completed my undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering at Princeton University. You can find out some other stuff I do at hanshanley.com.
I have long been interested in computer science, statistics, and world events and this blog is an attempt to synthesize these interests together. I plan to blog mostly about the computer science research I do at Stanford; but throughout I will also blog about computational perspectives of different social, political, and economic phenomena. I also will post about some of my random interests from time to time. My second blog post will be about some interesting work I did about the QAnon ecosystem, so stay tuned!
